Kids@Medicare was launched in 2009 to assist poor patients’ children. Provided are additional aid such as tuition fees, back to school assistance; new school bags, and rewards for excellent school result. School holiday activities and excursions are included so as not to deprive them of what other normal children have and enjoy. To date, over 240 patients’ children have benefited from this programme.

Back To School Programme

The ‘Back to School Programme’ is MAA Medicare’s signature annual assistance programme, whereby schoolbags inclusive of school and daily necessities are given to school going children of the patients from the dialysis centers. Started in 2009, the Kids@Medicare programme assists children with some school supplies and assistance.

Excellent Result Award

MAA Medicare rewards kidney patients' children for excellent SPM result. Four students were awarded with a gift of Casio watch and a certificate for they have excelled in their SPM examination. The gift was presented by Prof. Emeritus Datin Dr. Norella Kong, Medical Advisor and Board of Trustee Member and by Zone Managers from respective states.

School Holiday Activities

School holiday activities and excursions are included so as not to leave without them of what normal children have and enjoy. To date, more than 1,000 patients’ children have benefited from this programme.
